Biography
Kasey Lane was born and raised in Lake Country, BC. Naturally, her favourite seasons would be Fall and Winter. Since she loves the snow so much, Christmas is her favourite holiday!
Additionally, Kasey finds paradise and serenity when she is near an ocean. She also tells us, “I love to bake, especially peanut butter cookies because those are the only ones I don’t eat. However, chocolate chip on the other hand; they are my weakness (frozen ones are the BEST).” I would have to agree with her on that one!
As you can tell, she is very enthusiastic, and when she’s not taking pictures, she is taking road trips and looking for adventure anywhere she can. She is the type of a person that always has a smile on her face. She always remains confident and brings out that spirit in her photography.
Why She Loves Photography?
Notably, the reason why a photographer loves photography is a vital aspect to know about who they are. Furthermore, you wouldn’t hire someone to capture one of the most magical days of your life you believed they were only a photographer for a pay cheque. That is not Kasey Lane. She loves witnessing the unconditional love between a couple. She realizes the magnitude of being invited to capture these unique moments.

Why we love Kasey Lane Photography is because she pays attention to detail. The captures landscape, moments, and aspects that you wouldn’t even think of doing. Consequently, she is an active person, so when you are feeling tired or anxious, she will always be the reassuring voice telling you that you are beautiful, and the pictures are turning out amazing. Just look at some of the photos’ so far, she would be telling the truth!
Essentially, Kasey Lane is a firm believer in building friendships with the brides, grooms, their friends, and family. She wants you and your wedding guests to feel comfortable around her for her to take the most natural pictures possible.
Lastly, Kasey Lane is a great wedding photographer because she loves being creative. The more weddings that she does, the more she inspired. She is someone that you can trust will not only capture your wedding day beautifully, but the end product will amaze you.

- Photograph a wedding in Ontario during fall because the colours are magnificent
- Shoot a wedding in Africa – how amazing would that be.
- I have always dreamed of my photos being in a magazine; recently it became a reality… this has shown me that no matter what, you should always believe in yourself because amazing things do happen! (Okanagan Life Magazine) and now this, being featured in a blog. Dreams indeed do come true!
