1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of www.lizmooredestinationweddings.com (the “Website”). The Website is run by Liz Moore Destination Weddings, Ltd., a company based in British Columbia, Canada (“Liz Moore Destination Weddings”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Website.
These terms cover your use of the Website only. Any wedding planning services we provide are covered by a separate written agreement between you and us.
2. Using the Website
The Website is an information resource about destination weddings. You can also use it to request a consultation by filling out a form. We don’t take payments, deposits or any other financial transactions through the Website.
Submitting a consultation request or booking an appointment does not create a contract of any kind.
When you fill out a form, you agree to give us information that is accurate and belongs to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
When visiting the website, you agree not to:
- use the Website for anything unlawful or in a way that breaks these terms
- submit false, misleading or someone else’s personal information
- try to gain un-authorised access to the Website, its servers or its data
- introduce viruses or other harmful code
- scrape, copy or harvest content or contact details from the Website by automated means
- interfere with how the Website works or how other visitors use it
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to submit a consultation request.
3. Content, accuracy and links
Everything on the Website, including text, images, logos, videos and design, belongs to Liz Moore Destination Weddings, Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell or modify our content without our written permission.
The Website is general information only. Destination details such as resort features, pricing, entry requirements, weather, travel rules and availability change often, and we can’t guarantee they are current or complete. Confirm anything that matters to your plans with us directly and with the resort, airline or official source before you commit to it.
The Website may link to third-party sites, such as resorts, social media platforms and booking tools. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices or terms. Following a link is at your own risk.
4. SMS text messaging terms
These terms apply to text messages sent by Liz Moore Destination Weddings, Ltd. to people who have asked to be contacted by us.
Consent
When you request a consultation through our forms and tick the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from us at the mobile number you provided. Consent is optional. It is not a condition of requesting a consultation or of buying any service from us, and you can still reach us by phone or email if you don’t tick the box.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or the regular user of the mobile number, and that you are 18 or older.
What we send
We use text messages for service communication about your enquiry: consultation confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling changes, follow-ups on your request and replies to questions you send us. We do not send promotional or marketing texts under this programme.
How many messages
Message frequency varies. A new enquiry typically receives 4 to 6 messages in total in the lead-up to their consultation. You may receive more if you reply and start a conversation with us.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We don’t charge for our messages.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. You’ll get one final message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed, and we won’t text you again unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at 1-778-578-7555 or sales@lizmooreweddings.com. If you opt out by another clear method, such as replying “cancel” or “unsubscribe” or telling us by phone or email, we’ll honour it.
To opt back in after you’ve opted out, submit our consultation form again with the SMS consent box ticked, or reply START.
Delivery and carriers
Text messages are sent through third-party carriers and platforms, and we can’t guarantee that every message will be delivered on time or at all. Wireless carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your information
We use your mobile number only to communicate with you about your enquiry. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information, including your phone number.
5. Liability, governing law and changes
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liz Moore Destination Weddings, Ltd. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or your reliance on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about them will be dealt with in the courts of British Columbia, unless your local consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the latest version took effect. If you keep using the Website after an update, you accept the updated terms.
