We had the absolute best experience with Liz Moore Destination Weddings, especially working with Cassie, truly gold stars all around. Honestly, I was probably a client from hell for most of the process. I was stressed, overwhelmed, constantly second-guessing myself, and could never fully make up my mind. Through all of it, Cassie was nothing but patient, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. At one point, we were very close to booking a resort and almost ready to lock in rooms when we completely changed directions because we realized it was over budget… exactly like Cassie had gently warned us it might be. Rachael Shilling was absolutely incredible throughout our destination wedding planning process. Highlights: fast responding, professional, informative, extremely well organized and well versed in the destination wedding travel world. From the get-go, I reached out to the Liz Moore team for help coordinating travel for a destination wedding I was *thinking* about planning. I didn't have a specific destination or venue in mind, just a thought that maybe we could have a destination wedding. I was hesitant and scared to start the process, but after getting in contact with Rachael, I knew this was going to be a simple, easy process. Rachael immediately jumped on a phone call with me and my finance and made us feel comfortable in our destination wedding planning decision. Not only did she send us multiple resort venues all along the Caribbean, she went as far as getting the most recent catalogues for most of the venues. I never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. She helped narrow down the choices and she got us in contact with the wedding department at the venue we chose. She also went as far as getting me the contact information for other venue specific departments at our resort- something I wouldn't have even thought about. She did this all while organizing our hotel room block for our guests. We had nearly 80 people coming from all over the US and Rachael handled it so effortlessly. I’ll be honest, we were not an easy group. We had some young and older folks who had many questions and some who had never traveled outside of the country before. She helped everyone in such a kind, professional manner that even my Grandmother called to tell me how lovely she was. Rachael fought to get us the best price on our hotel block and helped accommodate seamless, worry free transportation to and from the airport and resort. She even reminded our group to fill out a mandatory Dominican Republic E Ticket prior to arrival and departure and to make sure we confirmed departure time with the hotel. I kept in contact with Rachael weekly, then as our need for consistent communication faded, we still kept in touch with little check-ins and happy updates. Rachael truly cares about her clients and that was evident as she is always available via email or phone call to me and my guests. Rachael truly did such an amazing job and I am beyond impressed and grateful to have had her as our travel agent. Without her, I’d still be trying to wrangle my family and plan a destination wedding!!

We weren't easy - initially sending a deposit for a resort in Jamaica, we needed to back out and change locations. She was so understanding and amazing at helping us find a new location within a super escalated time frame. She was very responsive and great with our questions, getting the information out to our guests, finding the best options for us and our travelers, and even working her magic to navigate last-minute travelers. In addition to all that, she went above and beyond to help us work with the resort when we were having difficulties on that end. In fact, we're in a situation were the resort messed up and owes us a good-sized refund. I've no doubt that without her on our side, we'd never see it. We were paired with Jessica Pong when we reached out to this company being from Toronto/Collingwood. From the outset, Jessica was extremely kind and helpful. She hopped on a call almost immediately and helped coordinate one with the hotel’s wedding department as well. We had already chose the hotel, so Jessica didn’t need to help with that (PSA: great hotel Dreams/Secrets Bahia Mita in Puerto Vallarta) but we had 130+ guests to coordinate with a final end count of 94 and Jessica was sooooo helpful in managing it all! So many people had additional questions and she always got back to them promptly. It took so much off our plate and we are so happy to have worked with her.

I cannot say enough about how helpful Courtney was in securing our wedding location and booking all of our guests. I haven’t had my wedding yet but I used Liz Moore to help me find my wedding location, select my wedding package with the resort, and help track and deal with all our payments as well as our guests. We had Jessica assist us and she’s been great! Very attentive, professional, good communication! Some of my guest said sometimes she was delayed in responding, but everything went smoothly and everyone got booked. I find it interesting the folks giving low reviews. Essentially you don’t pay for their services for what I got, they get paid through the resort, so to give a one star review is a little ridiculous in my opinion… it’s giving bride-zilla! I would highly reccomend them to help with your destination wedding!

Based on some guest feedback, some of our guests mentioned that there were a few times when responses to questions took a bit longer than expected. That said, we still genuinely appreciated her efforts and commitment to making our destination wedding possible and so perfect. I highly recommend Jessica! There is no travel destination she doesn’t respect, and she is not only attentive, caring and helpful, her passion for her clients and persistence for quality products for her clients is spot on. One specific trip involved a trip coming out of the Covid Days - the traveller wanted this to be a safe and secure trip, much like all of us around those times, and would have been the first time in destination yet he’d done diligent homework. We’re so happy we decided to trust Cassie from Liz Moore Weddings with our hotel block booking for our destination wedding in Mexico! We had a phenomenal experience working with Courtney. Courtney really took the time to get to know us as a couple and understood what we were looking for when it came to our wedding. I get overwhelmed easily so it was really nice to only have a few resorts to sift through at first. Courtney was able to arrange all our guests flying in from different locations, help book excursions and was so prompt at responding to our questions. We had some issues getting in touch with our wedding planner at the resort and Courtney was always SO happy to help, and even offered to jump on a zoom call with us and the resort planner to get things sorted. Courtney was also in touch with us the day and week of our travel to make sure things went off with out a hitch. I don’t think we would’ve had as perfect of a day if it wasn’t for Courtney. Nicole at Liz Moore Destinations organized the transportation for over 100 people to my son's destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. This included airfare, lodging and airport transfers. Her email communication concerning balances due, pre-travel preparations, required 24-hour confirmations and day-of-travel expectations were timely and incredibly informative. Miraculously, she was even able to get a refund from an unused extra paid room, which was unexpected and well appreciated. I would not hesitate to use her again if the need arises.

We worked with Cristina to plan our wedding in Cancun in November 2024. Cristina is such a lovely human and she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. She helped us choose a resort based on our vision, guest count, and budget through her experience, collaboration with her colleagues, and by sending us photos and videos of different venue options. She was also our travel agent and direct contact with the resort to mitigate the language barrier (she speaks Spanish) until the handoff to the resort wedding planner. When the airline we chose to fly with took a few months longer to book our group than normal, Cristina continuously checked in with them and kept us in the loop. Her response time was super quick, from within a few hours to around a day (we live in slightly different time zones). Cristina found answers for my many questions right away, and checked in with us right before we left for our trip and when we returned! I would definitely recommend working with Liz Moore Destination Weddings if you want to make sure all your bases are covered with care and/or if you don’t want to be your own travel agent. The best part is that all of their services are free!

Rachael was timely in answering questions for all our guests and articulate in her planning. Rachael was an absolute gem and we highly recommend her! She helped us with planning our destination wedding in Riveria Maya with 80+ guests from all over Canada and the US. When we decided we wanted to have a destination wedding, we honestly had no idea where to start. I started emailing several places to see what services were being offered. Rachael was so quick to respond and communicate with me. She asked me all the right questions and gave me so many options based on what I told her we were looking for. We scheduled a call to discuss in more detail. To be honest, it is a scary thing to book a wedding and for so many guests, without having stayed there before. Rachael reassured us and gave us stories of other guests that she helped. Rachael was the liaison between us and the resort we chose. If they were taking a while to respond, she would follow up immediately to ensure we were helped. Rachael assisted with the room bookings for all of our 80+ guests! The resort (Grand Palladium Riveria Maya) Rachael recommended for our wedding was so beautiful and perfect for what we were looking for. We ran into some hiccups along the way but she handled them well and professionally. She was very understanding and sympathetic. For our 2024 Honeymoon to Saint Lucia, we worked with Tarrian Grant. She was very knowledgeable of the island and provided several recommendations. We stayed at a lovely resort. She planned a couple of surprises that enhanced our experience. The only thing we regret is not staying longer because we had such a great time. We are already looking forward to her planning our next trip.

Renee was absolutely amazing! She always answered all my questions and we kept in contact thru the whole thing. She also communicated with everyone coming to my wedding. I don’t think the wedding would’ve turned out as amazing as it was with Renee. I read reviews before I talked to Renee and they were unable to encapsulate how helpful Liz Moore weddings was. I can’t imagine what my stress level would’ve been with her!

I had Delia recommended as a travel agent by another destination wedding bride, and I am so grateful! I truly couldn't have done it without her. She is knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Working a full-time job and planning a destination wedding is no joke. It was absolutely invaluable to have someone with intimate knowledge of the various resorts - and connections! Courtney made it happen! With less than a 2 month engagement time, she was able to find me the perfect resort with a great package to fit what we were looking for. It met our budget, wedding date, and beach perfect set up. She made me hope that a quick planing season was possible 🙂 Plus, she also helped me arrange transportation for all of my guests and made herself available for any questions my guests had with booking the rooms. She even made a "how-to" video to assist everyone that was very helpful to my guests. Would definitely recommend working with her!
