A Dream Destination Wedding

Dreams Punta Cana

We have another exciting feature about a dream destination wedding at Dreams Punta Cana! So, the beautiful Jessie and Dave sent us some fantastic pictures from their wedding in the Dominican Republic. They have also been kind enough to send us some information and advice for future destination wedding couples! If you have any additional questions, ask us in the comments below.

Resort

Dreams Punta Cana. The food was terrific, best buffet I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive. Tuna tartar, burrito bar and the Oceana and Italian restaurant were our favorites. The included room service was popular with our guests! The pool and landscape were stunning, and there are four flamingos that live on the resort and roam freely. The size was perfect for our guests. It was big enough that people could escape for alone time and small enough we could find each other easily for beach volleyball and drinks.

Dream Destination Wedding

Ceremony & Reception

We left the Resort and got married at Jellyfish restaurant which was a 35-minute drive away, and it was the best decision. The majority of the weddings we saw at the resort were not very private, and this was important to us. We loved everything about jellyfish restaurant. When it came to the food and service, it was the best we had all week!

Tips

Big tips: Use a travel advisor like Liz Moore weddings and get married at Jellyfish restaurant! At Jellyfish we were completely taken care of, our wedding was flawless. They can literally make your dream wedding happen if you show them pictures. The team at this restaurant know what they’re doing right down to every last detail!

Small tips: don’t buy your wedding dress too far in advance especially if you plan on hitting the gym hard. Secondly, it can be hard to hear certain people won’t make it your wedding. So, try to be understanding of whatever their reasons are and be prepared for last-minute dropouts.

Liz Moore Destination Weddings Review

We were lucky enough to find out about Liz Moore weddings through a friend who used them the year before us for their wedding. Initially, we were working with Liz, and then Keeley. They were both fantastic at responding promptly, answering all of our 1000 emails, they were very professional and genuine. Best of all, they had good knowledge of Punta Cana and the resorts and were able to give us feedback on areas of interest. We could not have dealt with multiple travel agencies to get the best deals and book group flights and accommodations without them!

Guests

Our guests enjoyed having an entire week to get to know each other and celebrate! Our group mingled together really well. New friendships were made, and Dreams was a fantastic resort for those who have traveled before and for those who were on their first all-inclusive vacation. I think jellyfish restaurant was the highlight of our week and our guests alike!
