Currently we are seeking self-motivated professionals looking for a new and exciting career and have with a talent and passion for selling and servicing groups, focusing on engaging with clients who have contacted our Destination Wedding Travel Agency.
As a successful candidate, you should have excellent communication and customer service skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
You will recommend resorts in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America based on the feedback from couples’ preferences & budgets and provide pricing proposals to meet their requirements.
You will also be responsible for negotiating rates with hotels and vendors to secure the best possible deals for your clients.
You will be booking their wedding date, reserving their group’s accommodations, setting up their flights & ground transportation and possibly excursions.
This includes coordinating with vendors such as photographers, florists, musicians, and officiants to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day of the event.
As a wedding specialist, you will manage the group from start to finish ensuring that the event goes smoothly, and the clients are satisfied.
The ideal candidate will join our team having experience in the travel industry, particularly in group sales and event planning.

Position Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to determine wedding dates, legal requirements, travel needs, budgets and preferences.
- Advise clients regarding destinations, local cultures & customs, activities & weather.
- Sell travel, accommodations, transfers, and insurance directly and indirectly thru suppliers.
- Act as a liaison between couples and on-site Wedding Resort coordinators, ensuring the fruition of all wedding plans.
- Collect & apply all payments to satisfy fees / charges.
- Handle all travel issues, cancellations & refunds/ complaints & conflicts.
- Maintaining accurate records of all bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls & meetings.
- Attend training and webinars.
Requirements
- Solid sales and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized & detail-oriented
- Strong ability to prioritize & manage tasks
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of travel trends
- Prior FAM trips attended
