The Wedding Day
Advice From Bride-To-Be and Liz Moore Travel Agent Specialist, Allison Tatham.
This week, we have a paramount topic to cover that destination brides will love to read. The Wedding Day. Allison Tatham is a Liz Moore Travel Agent Specialist and has dealt with many brides. We are wondering how she is feeling about being a bride herself! If you missed her advice on decor, Destinations and Resorts, make sure you click the links. All photography taken by Barbara Rahal Photography. Moreover, we have asked her three more questions to shed some light on how she has prepared herself for the wedding day. Let’s check it out!
#1: Are you nervous about anything?
I’m most nervous about ugly crying while I walk down the aisle! Lol. And sunburns! Although, I’m sure if that’s the only thing I am going to worry about before we say, “I do,” I’m pretty happy about that.
#2: How much planning do you have to do on your own?
This planning process has been a lot easier than I expected. This resort only allows one wedding per day, so we have loads of time. No other bridal couple will have competing events. Knowing that we will be meeting with the onsite coordinator before the wedding to walk through the details has alleviated all fears. Planning from afar has its challenges, but so far all of my questions have been answered promptly. I never feel like I am doing this by myself. Ceremony and reception options have been presented and we made choices based on our preference. Easy as pie.
#3: Do you have your dress? How are you bringing it to Mexico?
The dress has been purchased!! I will be taking it on the plane with me. Transat has a special compartment for my wedding dress. Most Canadian suppliers offer this as well.
