Real Brides From Real Weddings

Liz Moore Weddings

We love wedding dress features because they inspire future destination wedding brides with their dresses. However, a lot of our features include models wearing dresses for a photo shoot. We wanted to do something different. So, we asked photographers, our staff, and the general public if they could send in their own. Furthermore, so many great people sent in amazing pictures, and we can’t wait to show off these Real Brides From Real Weddings.

Allison Tatham-Eisbrenner

So, you may recognize this beautiful bride from the Liz Moore Destination Wedding staff. Allison is one of our dedicated destination wedding specialists. She recently got married in Mexico, and we asked her if we could show off her stunning wedding dress. What I find unique about this dress is the fabulous pink and pearls combination. Also, the wedding bouquet that she chose matches perfectly and makes it stand out. Her now husband was wearing a matching tie which created lovely wedding pictures, which were taken by Barbara Rahal Photography. Thank you so much for sending this is in Allison, it’s great to show off one of our own!

My husband Dan and I got married in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, this past April through Liz Moore Destination Weddings. I wore a lace Katie May dress. I LOVED the backless feature of my dress, and it was perfect for the warmer climate. Also, I liked the simplicity of my dress as I was able to have fun with accessories without going overboard being a destination wedding. I included a backdrop necklace, reverse flower crown and barefoot crystal sandals for accessories!

Alissa Benish

My husband is Jamaican, and we wanted his family to attend, so we had our wedding in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. Neither one of us live there, so we relied heavily on our hotel to help plan and organize everything. A lot of things went wrong on the day of the wedding. At that time there is nothing we could do about it, so we went with the flow. The main thing I kept thinking about is I was going to get to marry the man of my dreams. Nothing else mattered that day but us. The hotel and staff were fantastic, and everyone had such a wonderful time. We are going to go back and make the hotel our yearly honeymoon spot too.

That Moment Photo

This beautiful bride got married at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Mexico. Her dress suited her body type and was unique because of the skin colored layer underneath the white lace. Also, this strapless dress is elegant and unique. Her hair and makeup choice complement the dress, and overall, I think we can agree that she is a beautiful destination wedding bride!

I loved this dress because our destination wedding was supposed to be exclusively about us! No family or friends to entertain, no schedule. I felt sexy and perfect in this dress – like the woman my husband saw in me every day (even without a fabulous dress on). It symbolized our relationship and the person I want to be for the rest of my life.

Kristen: Andrea & Norm’s Wedding on Hornby Island at the Sea Breeze Lodge. She custom made her dress. It was beautiful!!! This dress is stunning. I love the unique colour and style that she picked for herself. The veil, cut, and lace compliments her body so perfectly. The simple accessories and flowers make the dress the stand out, and I bet she felt like a princess.

I adored my dress because it was comfortable, my husband LOVED it, and it was perfect for the beach in Mexico. I believe when finding the perfect dress, you should feel beautiful, be able to move and enjoy your day as you should. Comfort is everything. I can’t wait to put my dress on again some day.

Perfect Destination Wedding Dress

Derrel: The picture below was one of my bride’s who got married in Grand Palladium in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The dress is from Becker’s Bridal and is stunning! The strapless dress with jewel corset style top is an excellent choice. Also, it may be hard to tell, but I think her accessories complement her dress in such an elegant way. Strapless is always a perfect choice for a destination wedding because you can wear a strapless bathing suit top so that it won’t give you tan lines. Overall, such a gorgeous dress!
