Ocho Rios is one of Jamaica’s most visited regions and where you are bound to find great beaches, all kinds of different resort options and lots of tours and activities to make everyone in your group happy. It’s a fairly busier than Negril and on par with Montego Bay for action. Ocho Rios is located approx two hours drive east from the Montego Bay Airport. Dunn’s River Falls, Jamaica bob sledding and Ziplining are some of the many local excursions to experience here!
Most ships dock at the cruise-ship terminal on Ocho Rios Bay (the UDC Port), on the west side of town, just off the main coastal road. Others berth just west of the cruise-ship terminal at Reynolds Pier. Some of the larger ships anchor off the coast and take passengers to the terminal in smaller craft, though this is only done in instances where there are two to three large ships in port at the same time.
